INDIA TO LAUNCH ITS FIRST NAVIGATIONAL SATELLITE

  India is planning to launch its first navigational satellite in June.An official from the Department of Space(DOS) told this today.Our President told that India's mission to Mars will be launched this year.Several Space missions are being planned to launch this year.




  Mars is our neighbour planet,steps are taken to find whether life on Mars is possible or not.As a result,Mars Orbiter Mission is scheduled to be launched in the month of October.The main motive of this mission is to find the possibility of life in the red planet.


  The space plans are mainly aimed towards the Scientific achievements of the country.In 2012,few satellites were launched which brought us success.The missions include Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle and India's first remote sensing satellite.


  Our country is also progressing in the field of nuclear energy.The nuclear plant planned in Kudankulam will be launched this year,our President Pranab Mukharjee added.
