Headache is common among people.There are many pain complaints but it tops among all those complaints.It also includes neck or upper back pain.It may be due to different conditions of neck or head.It is caused by the disturbance of the pain sensitive structures around the brain.There are different classification for headache,such as the primary headache,secondary headache,facial pain,cranial neuralgias and other headaches.
Headaches caused due to tension are more common people.It is common among women than men.About 90 percent of adults suffer from this tension headache.
There are one more type called the migraine headaches,it is a type of primary headache.Before puberty,the headache is common to both boys and girls.But after puberty,women are affected much.About 6 % of men and 18 % of women are affected by this headache in their lifetime.The primary headaches are known to affect the quality of life.Migraines hurt your head but it does not affect your brain.
There are also some rarer kind of headaches,such as meningitis,brain tumors,etc.There is also headaches associated with nausea.Diagnosis is advised for initial stages,if the pain persists,then treatment is required.
There is also a type of headache called the cluster headache.It occurs in group of clusters.It is rare.Stress must be reduced to stay healthy.It is in our hands to manage stress.Based on the type of headache,diagnosis is recommended.
