Sachin was born on April 24,1973 in Bombay,India.He started to bat at the age of 11.Tendulkar was youngest cricketer at the age of 16.In 2005,he was the first cricketer to score 35 centuries in test play.He became the first player to score 15,000 runs in one day internationals.It is known that he is one of the greatest player of all time.His full name is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

In January 2010,he scored 3,000 runs in test play.He has been recommended for many prestigious awards.He has been recommended for the Bharat Ratna Award.He was a part of 2011 World Cup.He was a recipient of 'Player of the tournament' award for 2003 Cricket world cup.

He is also a member of 'Rajya Sabha',Parliament of India.He scored about 34,000 runs aggregate in all plays put together.He has stated that he will not play in T20 internationals.Sachin is known to be a religious person and he is a devotee of Sathya SaiBaba of Puttaparthi.He is known as the Master Blaster.He was the Captain of Indian Cricket team in the year 1996-1997.
